Cammira- Fighting my Blindside

This picture has sort of a long description, but only the first paragraph has what you need to enjoy the picture to any deeper degree.

I like red pandas. really likes red pandas. But I noticed that there aren't a whole lot of 'em around that are... well... stacked like pancakes in a lumberjack's house. So I decided to rectify this by revisiting an old character: Cammira. A blind wah, Cam chose to prove to herself and the world that her lack of sight didn't make her any less capable than someone else. Of course, loving exotic food and travel, she was drawn to martial arts tournaments much like Mashato Busuka. Unlike most, she has perfected a system of low-grade echolocation in order to move around, but the stick helps as well. She's good friends with the aforementioned tanuki, and the two spar on a regular basis.

When I originally introduced this character, I used the excuse that she has echolocation then, as well. When I did this, I got a surprising and confusing amount of controversy (because backlash sounds whiny) on the scientific soundness of it. You know, while the fact that a red panda could be five foot six and talk was totally cool. Yeah, well, lemme nip this in the bud right now; I don't care whether it's accurate or not. It sounds good, I'm using it.

Those Chinese symbols? The top one says 'blind,' literally. The other two? They translate to 'Braille.' Figure it out.
