today... I've been thinking a lot about cosmetic augmentation surgeries. They're expensive, invasive, not easily alterable and unsafe. Implants are, as a result, something that makes others think of one as kind of a freak for undergoing this kind of procedure. But what if these factors were mitigated? Say, some nanogel manufacturer, developing something that will replicate itself for the purposes of, say, fire extinguishing purposes. A scientist working under them put together that, hey, their remote-controlled solution could be used to replicate organic matter in a way that wouldn't cause rejection from the body, and could be easily reverted back to its prior state?
